Naturopathy: supporting the body’s natural healing capacity

Naturopathy takes a holistic view of health, considering the interaction between physical, emotional and lifestyle factors. Based on detailed medical history, naturopathic assessment and the targeted use of phytotherapy, an individual treatment plan is developed to support the body’s natural regulatory processes and promote lasting well-being.

Naturopathy

Naturopathic consultation goes beyond addressing individual symptoms. The focus is on you as a whole, including your health history, lifestyle, personal circumstances and current concerns. Following a detailed medical history and iris, tongue or pulse diagnosis, we develop your individual treatment plan. Depending on your needs, this may include medicinal plants, nutritional guidance, oder manual therapiesor other naturopathic methods. The aim is to support your body’s natural healing capacity and improve your quality of life in a sustainable way.

Potential areas of application:

  • Acute and chronic conditions
  • Supportive treatment for autoimmune conditions
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Supporting physical and mental performance
  • Stress, fatigue and mental tension
  • Recurrent infections and impaired immune resilience
  • Menstrual cycle irregularities or discomfort
  • Menopausal disorders
  • Digestive complaints such as bloating, reduced appetite, food cravings or irregular bowel habits

Phytotherapy and herbal remedies

Phytotherapy uses medicinal plants and their naturally occurring active constituents to support health and well-being. Herbal remedies have a long tradition in naturopathic medicine and can be selected according to individual symptoms, constitution and therapeutic goals. Medicinal plants are available in a wide range of preparations. In my practice, I use phytotherapeutic products in forms such as tinctures, teas, powders, ointments, spagyric preparations and gemmotherapy macerates.

Complementary assessment of the iris, tongue and pulse

The appearance of the tongue, characteristics of the iris and the quality of the pulse may provide complementary information about a person’s constitution and current state of health. Tongue assessment focuses on the current state of health and shows how deep a disorder extends. Iris assessment is used to consider constitutional characteristics and possible predispositions. Pulse assessment provides additional impressions of the body’s current functional and energetic state. Together, they contribute to a broader naturopathic assessment and the development of an individual treatment plan.

Manual therapies

In my manual therapies, I rely on classic massage, foot reflexology, Baunscheidt method and cupping.

Laboratory testing
